Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Culture Guru. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental and resource management at various project sites, providing support to project teams in achieving environmental objectives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established and prestigious property development business. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will conduct site visits to evaluate environmental performance, ensure compliance with legal regulations, and collect necessary data. You will also work closely with construction project teams to incorporate environmental requirements and improve site performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct site assessments to evaluate environmental performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  2. Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations by securing necessary permits and licenses.
  3. Analyze and report key metrics related to waste reduction, utility consumption, and other sustainability goals.
  4. Collaborate with construction project teams to develop innovative guidance and promote best practices in environmental sustainability.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging environmental laws and guidelines, assessing their potential impact on the company.
Requirements
  • Driver's license required due to frequent site visits.
  • Background in the construction industry or environmental management, with a relevant degree.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency, waste management, and environmental oversight.
  • Understanding of environmental challenges specific to the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
