About the RoleWorking within our Systems Engineering or Technology Management teams, you will work in multi-disciplinary teams, combining knowledge of technology and innovation to support clients. Your skills would be called upon to:
- Support technology horizon scanning across various industries and sectors, expanding knowledge of leading-edge technologies.
- Evaluate current operations and build processes to improve and optimise them.
- Manage programmes of research and innovation, developing collaborative teams from both within Frazer-Nash and industry partners.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality technical work and analysis of systems, using clear systems thinking.
- Understanding uncertainty around technology and evaluating options in the context of benefit and risk.
- Managing projects in accordance with ISO-9001 accredited processes and acting as technical lead.
- Working with colleagues to deliver multidisciplinary projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Specialist knowledge in systems engineering through a PhD, DPhil, or EngD.
- Aptitude for communicating methods and results to specialists and non-specialists.
- Experience of working with owners and operators of engineered assets across their lifecycle.
- Experience of using structured futures assessment methods and Systems Engineering techniques.
