Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our in-house marketing team at The Scotsman Group - Central Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our social media channels, developing and implementing a social media plan to grow our online presence and engage with our audience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a social media strategy to achieve business objectives, including growing followers, increasing interactions, and improving pre-booked sales and revenue.
- Work with the Operations team and in-house photographer and videographer to ensure high-quality content that showcases the USPs of our venues.
- Develop and implement a schedule of photography and videography using in-house resources, writing briefs and attending shoot days to ensure content meets our standards.
- Build on the roll-out of TikTok across the business, ensuring it is in place for all relevant sites and that content is monitored and training and support is given.
- Contribute fresh ideas and additions to existing social media content to ensure a constant stream of fresh content.
- Work with the Head of Digital Marketing to roll out key projects, including Influencer Marketing and Competition strategies.
- A degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field (HND equivalent considered).
- Active understanding of hospitality marketing and up-to-date with the latest trends and tools.
- In-depth understanding of applied social media marketing, specifically Instagram and TikTok, including best practice, scheduling tools, and in-app functionality.
- Keen eye for aesthetic and ability to capture and create high-quality photos and videos.
- Comfortable working on graphics and communicating design requirements to designers.
- Confident in social media outreach, including interacting with customers and outreach via DMs to influencers and collaborators.
