Job Title: Senior Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a Charge Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for supporting the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward
  • Provide clinical and leadership experience to support the wider nursing team
  • Deputise for the ward manager as necessary
  • Develop and expand on existing roles and responsibilities
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • At least 2 years of Mental Health experience as a nurse in the UK
