Job Title: Charge Nurse (RMN) - Mental Health Hospital

A leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities is seeking an experienced senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work in a forensic hospital providing a secure environment consisting of medium, low, and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorders.

Job Summary

As a Charge Nurse (RMN), you will support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act
  • Have clinical and leadership experience that provides the expertise and confidence required to support the wider nursing team
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years of Mental Health experience as a nurse, in the UK
  • Be responsible for deputising in the absence of the ward manager if necessary

Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
