Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Appoint Healthcare, a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.
  • Provide clinical and leadership expertise to support the wider nursing team.
  • Deputise in the absence of the ward manager if necessary.
  • Develop and expand on existing roles and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN).
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals.
  • At least 2 years of Mental Health experience as a nurse in the UK.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
