Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) to join our team at a 95-bedded forensic hospital in Abergavenny. The hospital provides a secure environment for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorder.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a secure rehabilitation setting. The role requires a strong understanding of mental health nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care in a secure environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise in mental health nursing
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) qualification
  • At least 12 months of experience in a UK mental health setting
  • Valid NMC PIN
  • Up-to-date training certificates
  • UK Resident
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clean and clear DBS
