Director of Nursing Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities services. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving forward service transformation and delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver outstanding services across our mental health and learning disabilities sectors.
- Develop and implement robust systems for performance and financial management, with patient safety and quality governance at the heart of everything we do.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote multidisciplinary working and review the workforce plan for the future.
- Champion and promote patient-centered care and staff development, ensuring that our services are outcomes-focused and responsive to the needs of our patients.
- Work closely with our Board to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring that our services are aligned with national and local priorities.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a comprehensive range of primary, community, mental health, and acute hospital services for a population of around 700,000 people across North Wales. If you are a registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration, and you have significant senior leadership experience, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements- Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Masters level qualification in management/leadership or equivalent knowledge and extensive experience to Masters level in a senior leadership role within the area of speciality.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional development.
- In-depth professional specialist knowledge and experience of managing a number of disciplines acquired through training and experience over a significant period.
