Sales Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our established team at Macfarlane Group, a leading packaging distributor. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, managing a portfolio of existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to ensure profitability
- Deal with incoming customer queries and provide advice and solutions
- Undertake outbound activity to identify and target new customers
- Work closely with and support the external sales team
- Administer sales orders and quotations, ensuring customer delivery dates are met
- Regularly use internal CRM systems
- Liaise closely with internal departments such as logistics and procurement
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can demonstrate a good track record of success in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have a first-class telephone manner, strong administration skills, and be commercially aware and target-driven. Packaging industry experience is highly advantageous, but not essential.
