We value the importance of academic support in helping children thrive in their education. As a Year 3 Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our Year 3 children, working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist with classroom management and organization, ensuring that teaching materials and resources are readily available.
- Support teachers in preparing lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 2 (Year 3).
- A good understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, including English, Mathematics, and Science.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable, but not essential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
