About the Role

This position is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled English specialist to join our thriving department in Dorset.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching English to students with diverse needs, leading and coordinating special educational needs initiatives, and maintaining high standards and positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging English lesson plans to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to special educational needs provision.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and carers.
Requirements
  • Degree in English or related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching English to students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting students with SEN to achieve their full potential.

  • A full-time, permanent contract with a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
