About the Role

Queen's University Belfast is seeking to appoint exceptional candidates to the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in International Business/Strategy. This is a key position within the Department of International Business, Entrepreneurship, & Marketing (IBEM), offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of the department from both a research and teaching perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake research in line with the School's research strategy, designing and delivering modules, contributing to the development of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes, and contributing to the School's internationalisation, outreach, and administrative activities.
  • Contribute to the strategic and operational management of the IBEM Department and the School.
  • Develop and lead a major programme of individual or collaborative International Business or Strategy research.
  • Contribute to successful, sustained postgraduate student supervision as primary supervisor, normally at PhD level.
Requirements
  • A completed PhD (or very close to completion for Lecturer) in Management or cognate fields.
  • An established programme of research activity and dissemination of original, high-quality research in the fields of International Business and/or Strategy, in line with accepted norms for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer.
  • A sustained track record of high-quality peer-reviewed International Business and/or Strategy publications as appropriate to norms for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer.
  • Ability to teach and assess at university level in one or more of the following areas: International Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Strategy, Technological Innovation.
