About the Role

As a Payroll Assistant at Sharp Consultancy, you will be responsible for managing the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely payments to over 200 staff members monthly, as well as approximately 200 additional employees who are paid weekly.

  • Performing wage calculations, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Processing paternity/maternity and sick leave entitlements
  • Handling starters and leavers, ensuring seamless transitions
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving payroll-related queries
  • Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies

Your Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure. You will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

What We Offer

This role comes with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience), as well as benefits, including up to 3 days working from home per week. You must be eligible to work in the UK full-time without restriction.
