About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our close-knit, supportive team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in managing accurate and timely payroll operations within a collaborative work environment where team members value and support each other.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract position, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Process payroll for new starters and leavers.
  • Calculate and process travel payments accurately.
  • Manage and balance both weekly (150 employees) and monthly payrolls (2000+ employees).
  • Conduct pension assessments.
  • Generate payroll costing reports.
  • Process employee absences in line with policies.
  • Complete BACS and manual payments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll administration role.
  • Highly organised and meticulous in handling data.

Salary Estimate

£28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
