Meeting & Events Sales Executive

De Vere Beaumont Estate, a majestic Georgian hotel, is seeking a skilled Meeting & Events Sales Executive to join its team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for turning email enquiries into unforgettable experiences.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, preferably in an operational events team, and be looking to transition into an office environment with daytime hours. Alternatively, applicants with office experience who are eager to pursue a career in the events industry are also encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities include discussing client enquiries in detail, crafting custom proposals, and converting enquiries into bookings. In return, the role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus a sales bonus incentive worth £2,500 per year, paid quarterly. Additional benefits include free meals, an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere Hotel, and a paid day off for your birthday.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Confident communication skills to forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and guests.
  • Excellent IT skills, with familiarity with Opera software beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
