An exciting opportunity exists within the United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to join a highly motivated and enthusiastic dermatology team, dedicated to delivering exceptional services to a predominantly rural population.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide an expert comprehensive dermatology service across various sites within the organization, working collaboratively with Consultant colleagues as required.
  2. To ensure seamless departmental coverage by coordinating leave arrangements with colleagues.
  3. To engage in teaching medical students, junior doctors, nursing staff, and General Practitioners, actively contributing to the Postgraduate Medical Education program.
  4. Continuously responsible for patient care and the effective functioning of the Department.
  5. Regular attendance at Dermatology Team meetings to contribute towards clinical service management and development, as well as other service activities aimed at ensuring high-quality patient care.
  6. Maintenance of Royal College of Physicians standards and British Association of Dermatologists continuing medical education.
  7. Participation in local mandatory training, annual medical appraisal, and revalidation.
  8. Active involvement in audit programs at Team, Department, Trust, District, Regional, and National levels.
  9. Professional supervision and management of nursing and medical staff.
  10. Participation in research where feasible.
  11. Undertaking additional duties as identified to meet the needs of the service.
