Job Description

As a Senior Debt Recovery Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Chasing debt by telephone and email to reduce debtor days
  • Resolving billing queries both internally and externally
  • Making recommendations for legal action to collect monies owed if necessary
  • Ensuring notes and actions are clearly recorded in the credit control system
  • Using judgement and acting upon it to recognize where advice and support is needed to resolve account problems
  • Building and maintaining relationships resulting in payments being on time and/or early
  • Allocating cash accurately to customer accounts
  • Supplying ad hoc analysis on request
  • Undertaking additional tasks and project work across the finance team
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience working in a finance department with exposure to credit control
  • Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting systems
  • AAT part-qualified (Desirable)
