Paralegal Role



We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team at PIB Group. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for working on a portfolio of clients, providing a market-leading service and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything you do.



You will be drafting and serving possession notices, drafting claim forms, and preparing bundles for court hearings. In addition, you will be supporting Senior Paralegals with the handling of defended litigation, reviewing files, and providing supervised advice to clients.



This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in Landlord Tenant Law, working with a dynamic and innovative law firm.



Key Responsibilities


  • Draft and serve possession notices on tenants renting in England and Wales
  • Draft claim forms and particulars of claim for possession and debt matters
  • Prepare bundles for court hearings, liaising with clients and agents attending court
  • Support Senior Paralegals with the handling of defended litigation
  • Review files and provide supervised advice to clients
  • Manage inbound post on client matters, ensuring all directions of the court and legislative timescales are met


Requirements


  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of working in a customer-facing role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with experience of using Adobe Pro advantageous
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to draft and review large amounts of information and documents
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Previous experience of working in a regulated environment advantageous, but not essential
  • Any existing qualifications in law, particularly in Civil Litigation, Landlord and Tenant Law, or Debt Recovery, will be beneficial
