About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at Atlantis Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist physiotherapy services to children aged 0-19 years.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to children with complex needs, prioritizing their choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Manage a defined clinical caseload, working autonomously and as part of the multidisciplinary team with indirect supervision.
  • Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students to ensure high standards of clinical care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment programs, ensuring evidence-based practice.
Key Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and advanced clinical reasoning in Paediatrics.
  • Specialist knowledge in anatomy and physiology, with a focus on paediatric care.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and motivate a team to achieve high standards of clinical care.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Postgraduate training in relevant clinical areas, such as Paediatric Physiotherapy or Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
  • Previous experience in a senior role, with involvement in audit and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Teaching, supervisory, and appraisal experience, with a focus on professional development and mentorship.
