Children's Residential Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Registered Manager to lead our new two-bedded homes specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the children's residential home in accordance with OFSTED standards.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and welfare for all children.
- Foster a positive working environment through training and supervision, inspiring, leading, and managing a team of staff.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the children.
- Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals for comprehensive care.
- Maintain all necessary records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and take action to achieve continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Relevant social care qualification ideally Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Within the last five years, you have worked for at least two years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- You have worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
- OFSTED registration.
- Proven experience managing EBD homes or similar settings.
- Previously been a manager or a deputy looking to step up.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including OFSTED standards and legislation relating to children's care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
