Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers a competitive salary of £17.69 per hour (day), £22.99 per hour (night), and £28.30 per hour (Sunday/Bank Holiday).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
  • Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
  • Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
  • Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships
Requirements:
  • Statement of NMC Registration
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Successful completion of preceptorship
  • Good range knowledge/appreciation of a range of models of practice in social and health care including experience of delivering CBT based interventions
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the last 3 years or completion of a Return to Practice within the last 3 years in your area of specialism
