About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Nutrition and Dietetics Specialist to join our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Dietetic team. As a specialist in nutrition and dietetics, you will play a key role in developing service delivery and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities will include leading service development, driven by best practice, up to date research as well as national standards and policies. You will also contribute to the assessment and care of older adults at different stages of their mental health difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have clinical experience of working with people with mental health conditions, demonstrating good knowledge of, and ability to apply, evidence base in relation to dietetic practice. A BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics, HCPC registration, and post graduate qualification are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan dietetic interventions for older adults with mental health conditions.">
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans.">
  • Provide education, training and expert support to develop the diet and nutrition knowledge and skills of staff.">

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be £38,000-£58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
