About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues
  • Support the implementation of person-centred care plans, ensuring the needs of each individual are met
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of therapeutic activities and interventions
  • Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to ensure seamless care provision
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of care plans

Requirements

  • Able to motivate and engage service users in activities and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities
