About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Therapy team in delivering high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centred approach to care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans, including activity analysis and graded interventions.
  • Coordinate and deliver a range of activities and interventions to promote physical and mental wellbeing, including group and one-to-one sessions.
  • Contribute to the assessment and risk management process, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for service users.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
Requirements
  • Care certificate or willingness to undertake a similar qualification.
  • Ability to motivate and engage service users, with a strong focus on building therapeutic relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver groups and one-to-one enrichment activities, with a focus on promoting independence and choice.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
