About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Therapy team in delivering high-quality care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a person-centred approach to care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, including activity analysis and graded interventions.
- Coordinate and deliver a range of activities and interventions to promote physical and mental wellbeing, including group and one-to-one sessions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of service users' needs, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
- Care certificate or willingness to undertake a similar qualification.
- Ability to motivate and engage service users, building strong therapeutic relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to deliver groups and one-to-one enrichment activities, promoting independence and autonomy.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
