Clinical Lead Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Therapist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Clinical Lead Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management of the day-to-day delivery of services, including supporting the development of the service, managing issues relating to HR, colleague absence, completing appraisals, probation reports, performance and compliance with Care Quality Commission Standards.

About the Role
  • Provide therapy assessment and treatment to patients with diverse health needs, who may have complex and/or chronic conditions, in a variety of community settings.
  • Monitor and analyse performance data against agreed targets for the team.
  • Support the training and development of therapy colleagues in the team.
Requirements
  • Health & Care Professions Council Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
  • Honours Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Evidence of relevant post-graduate specialist courses/training to Masters module level or equivalent.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Membership of a relevant Clinical Interest group.
