Clinical Psychology Lead

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychology Lead to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our older adult psychology specialty, you will provide professional leadership to a team of psychologists working in community teams, including a Community Mental Health Team, a Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team, a Memory Assessment Service, and an older adult inpatient ward.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise junior colleagues and work clinically into older adult services in the area, according to need.
- Provide professional leadership to a team of psychologists working in community teams.
- Work alongside operational, clinical, and other colleagues to ensure an excellent service for older people in the locality.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS.
- Substantial post-qualification experience, including experience within older adult settings.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course, in various settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, inpatient, and residential care settings.
