Clinical Psychologist Lead for Older Adult Services

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Older Adult Psychology team in Lancashire and South Cumbria. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional leadership and clinical expertise to support the delivery of high-quality mental health services to older adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior colleagues
  • Work clinically into older adult services, including community teams and inpatient wards
  • Develop and implement effective care plans and interventions to support older adults with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for older adults

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical)
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in older adult mental health services
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality care to older adults
