Clinical Psychology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Older Adult Psychology Service in Lancashire and South Cumbria. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional leadership and clinical expertise to our community teams, including the Community Mental Health Team, Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team, Memory Assessment Service, and older adult inpatient ward.
You will work closely with our network psychology lead and other colleagues to ensure an excellent service for older people in the locality. Your responsibilities will include supervision of junior colleagues, clinical work in older adult services, and liaison with psychology leads from across the mental health network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional leadership to the Older Adult Psychology Service
- Supervise junior colleagues and provide clinical guidance
- Work clinically into older adult services in the area, according to need
- Liaise with psychology leads from across the mental health network
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Substantial post-qualification experience in older adult settings
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course
- Skills in providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups
