About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological interventions and assessments to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the assessment of referrals and provide initial assessments to service users.
  • Undertake high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions and make autonomous clinical decisions.
  • Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations and undertake assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
  • Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients' mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence-based best practice.
  • Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care.
Requirements
  • Hold a BPS-recognised psychology degree.
  • Be registered with the UK HCPC.
  • Have Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications.
  • Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division.
  • Have an understanding of evidence-based psychological practice.
  • Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting.
  • Be experienced working with clients with cognitive deficits.
  • Have previous experience of conducting research and project working.
