Job Title: Adult Clinical Psychologist

Appoint Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their team in Kendal, Cumbria. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in the development of their Learning Disabilities and Autism services.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide specialized clinical psychology input, conducting individual assessments, formulation, intervention, and consultation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to clients with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide specialized psychological therapy and skills
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Supervise and train a team of therapists and assistant psychologists
Requirements:
  • BPS recognized psychology degree
  • UK HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Chartered Psychologist status
  • Approved supervisor within the guidelines of BPS and relevant division
  • Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits
