Medical Assistance Coordinator

We're seeking a skilled Medical Assistance Coordinator to join our team at Healix. As a key member of our Medical Assistance Team, you'll be responsible for delivering timely and effective responses to travel and medical assistance requests. Your expertise will ensure cost-effective and customer-focused solutions, providing first-line support to our team and acting as a point of escalation for complex cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing cases effectively, providing advice and support to customers throughout the claims process
- Gathering information from third parties to expedite claims assessments
- Assisting Operational Leads with escalated claim and member queries
- Escalating urgent matters and high-risk cases to Operational Leads and Operations Managers as appropriate
- Keeping clients, claims handlers, underwriters, and third parties informed with timely and detailed updates
