Job Title: Staff Nurse Position at Morar Living

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team at Morar Living. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership and support to care staff, acting as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
  • To liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure residents receive the medical and clinical support they require.
  • To support care staff in the completion of induction programs, training, and competency assessments.
  • To manage medications, including controlled drugs and oxygen, adhering to NMC requirements and company policies.
  • To act within your own skills and competence in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff, and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring, and reviewing processes.

Requirements:

  • RN or RMN qualification with experience in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience in supporting and developing less experienced staff members.
  • Ability to work well within a team, leading, motivating, and supporting colleagues.
