About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for working with older adults to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for individuals with mental health needs in community settings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote person-centred care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence
- Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification and NMC registration
- Experience of working in community mental health care settings with a focus on older adults
- Strong understanding of dementia assessment, diagnosis, and management principles
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
