Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for individuals with mental health needs in community settings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote person-centred care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification and NMC registration
  • Experience of working in community mental health care settings with a focus on older adults
  • Strong understanding of dementia assessment, diagnosis, and management principles
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds
