Belmont Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse or Community Psychiatric Nurse to join their team as a part-time Early Intervention Team member. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work with individuals who have experienced a first episode of psychosis, providing support and care in a multidisciplinary setting.

About the Role

This role is based in the Chorlton-Cum-Hardy area of Manchester and offers a part-time schedule of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, totaling 22.5 hours per week. The initial contract duration is 9 months, with potential for extension. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of £24.78 to £26.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
  • To provide expert nursing care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are implemented.
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in community mental health, A&E liaison, and transferable skills from experienced nurses. Although prior experience with Liaison posts is advantageous, it is not essential. What matters most is your passion for delivering high-quality patient care and your ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
