Service Supervisor Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Service Supervisor to join our team at Perrys MG Huddersfield. As a Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our team is organised and prepared for arriving customer appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that our customers receive regular, proactive and accurate updates about their vehicles.
• Act as a point of escalation for customer issues as required.
• Lead a team of Aftersales Advisors, providing training and coaching, identifying learning and development opportunities and completing regular 1-2-1's delivering effective feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of customer contact using our complaints system and manage outstanding issues that require resolution in line with our customer complaints procedure.

Requirements:
• Previous motor trade experience is essential, we may consider someone from an independent garage who can show the knowledge, confidence and driven manner.
• A steady work history is required, with at least 2 years' experience working within the motor trade/car dealership as a Service Advisor or Service Supervisor.
• Pinnacle or Kerridge experience is preferable but not essential, having experience with some sort of dealership system is beneficial.
• We are looking for a confident, friendly and professional individual with a strong customer service background.
