Job Title: Mentoring Service Leader and Youth Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our mentoring service and develop a program of activities and support for young people at Northfield Hall in Huddersfield. As a Mentoring Service Leader and Youth Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mentoring services and developing a comprehensive program of activities and support for young people.

The successful candidate will have experience working with young people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This opportunity is initially self-employed, for a minimum of four hours per week, to deliver at least one evening session for young people. We can be flexible and are happy to discuss delivering more hours and sessions.

Salary: £25-35 per hour

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Deliver high-quality mentoring services to young people
* Develop and implement a comprehensive program of activities and support for young people
* Work closely with the Local Services 2 You team to ensure effective delivery of the program
* Collaborate with community partners to leverage resources and expertise
* Recruit and manage volunteers as needed
* Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness

**Requirements:**
* 2+ years experience working with young people in a leadership or coordination role
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Familiarity with local community resources and services
