An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned healthcare professional to join Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as the Group Director of Patient Safety and Quality Governance.

About the Role

This is a unique chance to lead the Patient Safety and Quality Governance departments within our trust, working closely with the Group Chief Nurse and Medical Director to deliver high-quality care and services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Patient Safety, Legal Services, Clinical Effectiveness, Audit and Compliance, Quality Governance, and Risk management, ensuring the trust's overall performance is enhanced.

As a key member of the trust's leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of psychological safety and fairness, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Your Background
  • You have a Master's level education in a healthcare field or equivalent experience
  • You possess substantial experience in clinical and corporate governance at a senior level
  • You have a good understanding of NHS policy, legal, and inspection frameworks
  • You have experience in strategic management at a corporate level
Salary Details

The estimated salary for this role is £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Additionally, you will be entitled to a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
