We are seeking a Financial Planning and Strategy Lead to join our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, in a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance professional to lead financial planning and strategy for a critical business area.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in producing management accounts and providing a business partnering function to senior stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing the month-end process, producing detailed management accounts, setting annual budgets, conducting quarterly forecasting, and managing a comprehensive 5-year financial plan.

As a key member of the team, you will support the strategic development of the business area by providing financial insights and infrastructure recommendations to enhance asset growth and expansion. You will also coordinate the financial aspects of individual grants, identify funding opportunities, and oversee the portfolio of awards at an institute level to highlight trends and growth opportunities.
