About the Role

This challenging and rewarding position will see you managing a diverse portfolio of clients comprising small-medium limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Your key responsibilities will include supervising junior staff, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback. The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA qualified with strong general practice experience.

  • Client Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, including small-medium limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Financial Statement Review: Conduct thorough reviews of Limited Company Financial Statements.
  • Accounting Support: Prepare and review management accounts for clients.
  • Work Planning: Develop and implement effective work-planning strategies for your portfolio.
  • Jr. Team Support: Provide timely and constructive feedback on jobs performed by junior members of the team.
  • Bespoke Solutions: Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver bespoke solutions and project work as required.
  • Fee Negotiation: Work closely with clients to agree fees for services rendered.
  • Portfolio Management: Effectively manage your own workload and that of the team to meet client expectations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ACCA / ACA Qualification.
  • Significant client management experience, preferably in an accountancy practice setting.
  • Proven ability to review and provide feedback on work prepared by junior staff.
What We Offer

We are committed to supporting our employees in their career development and offer a competitive salary package. Based on industry standards and considering the location, we estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. This figure may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and performance.
