Job Title: Senior Group Systems Accountant

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Group Systems Accountant to lead our Accounting & Finance team in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our financial systems and processes to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Lead the Accounting & Finance team in Oxford.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a successful audit process.
  • Support the development and execution of the company's financial strategy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
  • Advise on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in a leadership position within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Expertise in financial systems and process management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
