About the Role:

As a Support Practitioner with The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various needs, including physical and/or learning disabilities, mental health issues, and autism. Your responsibilities will include providing social support, administering medication, and assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and arranging visits with professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities.
  • Administer and monitor medication as required.
  • Assist individuals to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, including assistance with showering, bathing, dressing, and arranging visits with professionals.
  • Help individuals to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.

Requirements:

As a Support Practitioner, you will be required to work weekends, shift patterns, and sleepovers when required. You will also be required to hold a driving license.
