We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse (Health Visiting Team) to join our team in Wiltshire. As a key member of our Health Visiting Team, you will play a vital role in providing preventative and supportive healthcare to children and families in the community.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) to deliver the Healthy Programme in a variety of settings, including the home and community venues. You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and providing targeted support to vulnerable children and those whose welfare and safety may be at risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the boundaries of the Staff Nurse Competency framework
- Help the Health Visiting Team to achieve Key Performance Indicators
- Work in partnership with children and families to identify any health needs at the earliest opportunity and provide appropriate support to achieve positive outcomes
- Support Early Years Services in the community, such as Children's Centres and Early Years settings
- Support Infant feeding and parent-infant relationships by adhering to the Baby Friendly Initiative Standards
- Complete the Family Health Needs assessment for allocated mandated reviews and update the SCPHN (Health Visitor) with any areas of concern
