Nurse/RGN (Permanent, Contract, Part Time) - Health Visiting Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse (Health Visiting Team) to join our team in Wiltshire. As a key member of our Health Visiting Team, you will provide preventative and supportive health care to children and families in the community.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Health Visitor and other healthcare professionals to deliver the Healthy Programme in a variety of settings, including the home and community venues. You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and providing targeted support to vulnerable children and those whose welfare and safety may be at risk.

About the Role- Work within the boundaries of the Staff Nurse Competency framework
- Help the Health Visiting Team to achieve Key Performance Indicators
- Work in partnership with children and families to identify any health needs at the earliest opportunity and provide appropriate support to achieve positive outcomes
- Support Early Years Services in the community, such as Children's Centres and Early Years settings
- Support Infant feeding and parent-infant relationships by adhering to the Baby Friendly Initiative Standards
- Complete the Family Health Needs assessment for allocated mandated reviews and update the SCPHN (Health Visitor) with any areas of concern

- Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse
- Experience of working in a community health setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the Healthy Programme and Baby Friendly Initiative Standards
