About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Fitter to join our team in Woking, Guildford and surrounding areas. As a specialist supplier for rail plants and related trackside services, we cater to network rail projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, service, and repair of company plants and small tools. Ideal candidates will have a background as a qualified plant fitter or mechanic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service, and repair company plants and small tools at customer premises.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to ensure equipment is maintained and serviced to manufacturer specifications.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed.
  • Adhere to company and customer regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role from a background in railway, motor, construction, or agricultural industries.
  • Time-served as a qualified plant fitter or mechanic.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to stay away occasionally.
  • Knowledge of small plant engines.
  • Organisational skills to plan work effectively.
