Car Asset and Equipment Maintenance Technician

Purpose of the Role:
This role involves supporting the build, assembly, deployment, and off-car preparation of Heritage Formula 1 cars and associated support equipment. You'll work closely with multiple teams at and away from our facilities.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day operations meet required standards.
- This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical, electrical, and IT aptitude, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Support the build, preparation, and track running of Heritage Formula 1 car assets and support equipment.
- You'll be the key point of contact for Heritage support equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensure supply, servicing, and presentation meet high standards.
- Install and present garage infrastructure to the highest possible standards.
- Oversee Heritage team freight movements and secure loading process.
- E nsure safe and correct loading.
- Verify loads meet content, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain Heritage pit and garage equipment.
- Identify opportunities to generate savings in freight, operations, and improve efficiency.
- Occasional support to other operational areas during busy periods.
- You should have experience with motorsport garage infrastructures and demonstrate relevant skill sets.
- Digitize methodologies and processes; you must be computer literate in stock control and inventory management.
- Deliver quality under tight deadlines with conflicting priorities.
- Previous experience in race car support is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and digital systems to drive process improvement.
- You must have the ability and willingness to travel within the UK and abroad.
