Fostering Social Work with Ashberry Recruitment
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Fostering Team, working closely with foster carers to provide placement stability and achieve good outcomes for children.
As a Senior Fostering Social Worker, you will be passionate about matching children with the right foster carers, providing support and guidance to ensure they thrive in their placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with foster carers to provide placement stability and achieve good outcomes for children
- Match children with suitable foster carers, considering their individual needs and circumstances
- Provide support and guidance to foster carers, including training and development opportunities
- Contribute to the development of foster care policies and procedures
Requirements:
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
- Ability to work alone and within a team, contributing to multi-agency set-ups
- Flexible approach to work and working hours when required
