The Eaton Oak, a beautiful family-friendly pub, is part of Wells & Co Managed. We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Chef de Partie to join our culinary team.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional standards of food, cleanliness, and hygiene. Your main duties will include:

  • Accountable for food safety and hygiene within the specified kitchen areas
  • Training and coaching junior kitchen staff
  • Input to menu development
  • Preparing fresh foods to an exemplary standard
  • Managing raw ingredients and achieving the food margin
  • Stocking shelves and ensuring stock is stored correctly
  • Following health & safety directives in food preparation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a kitchen environment
  • A passion for fresh food
  • A methodical and organised approach to work under pressure
  • Precise planning and organisation ability
  • Ability to give and receive fair feedback
