About the Role

As Commis Chef, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, working across all sections. We make everything from scratch, so this role is perfect for someone who loves fresh ingredients.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing, cooking, and presenting perfect food according to company standards, ensuring guest satisfaction at every eating occasion.

Main Duties
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Adhering accurately and consistently to portion controls
  • Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life

In addition to these duties, you will also be responsible for ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6 months chef experience
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Desire to learn, improve, and train from those around you
  • A proud individual that always strives to deliver their best
  • Passion for fresh food

We estimate the salary for this position to be £25,000-£30,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
