About the Role:
Creative Support Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and person-centered individual to join our team as a Relief Support Worker. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering and supporting people with a learning disability to transform their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support to individuals with a learning disability, promoting their independence and community connections.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
- Support service users to develop independent living skills, achieve their personal goals, and participate in their local community.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Commitment to an empowering approach to support, enabling individuals to lead fulfilling and valued lives.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins, to meet service user needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Knowledge of the principles of person-centered support and the ability to apply them in practice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
